The K 4x4 platform when combined with ARDCO, or other manufacturer’s, drills provides a rugged and reliable geothermal drilling system. ARDCO Model C-1000 Geothermal Drill

• MAST: 16’ Welded Tubular Steel for use with 10’ (3.1 meter) drill pipe
• ROTARY: ARDCO heavy-duty Top-Head drive rotary assembly, hydraulically driven through 3” ( 7.6 cm) wide straight tooth gears with a 5.923 : 1 gear ratio.
• TORQUE: up to 700 lb. ft (950 nm) speed 300 rpm (optional Torque to 1200 lb. ft. (1628 nm)
• DRAWWORKS: Two Continuous #80 1” (2.5 cm) roller chains actuated though a Ramsey 35X speed reducer. Pull-UP or Pull-Down: 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg). Speed to 100’ (30.5 meters) per minute.
• PIPERACK: Heavy duty pipe storage rack located on right side of drill unit.
• HOLE LOADER: Cable drum with 250’ (76.2 m) of ¼” (6.4 mm) cable driven hydraulically including mast mounted cable pulley and weight
